Michael Rangel is an artist, writer and clinician in Chicago, IL. Michael currently is the Youth Support Manager of Project Impact at SkyART and therapist at For Real Therapy. Michael manages the art therapy program at SkyART, which provides free art therapy services to youth both individually and in groups in-studio, as well as providing art therapy in schools and in community spaces. His work in the field of social work and supportive services connects creative youth development and expressive art practices. Michael holds a Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Master of Arts degree in Critical Ethnic Studies from DePaul University with a certificate in Women and Gender Studies. He is currently in the process of becoming a registered dance/movement therapist.
