Marshmallow DNA?
That’s correct. It happened with teaching artist Ewa Bloch at South Shore Fine Arts Academy! 
Ewa worked with 15 kindergarten students to expand on their in-class discussions about DNA…by making (and eating) their own.
“We did a sculpture project based on DNA which proved to be the project of the year,” Ewa said. “Students constructed their own unique DNA and connected it together to make class DNA…It involved marshmallows and tooth pics and it was eaten at the end of the class.” (Very clever – what kindergartner doesn’t love eating their art projects?)
