Associate Board Rooftop Happy Hour

Our new Associate Board is launched and ready to go! Enjoy a summer evening getting to know them on the rooftop at Citizen Bar in River North. Happy Hour is a great, casual opportunity to support arts education (and to meet some really cool people while you’re at it); this Happy Hour will benefit Urban Gateways touring performance programs for Chicago-area schools (details below). Your $30 ticket includes appetizers and 3 drinks – house red and white wine, Bud Light and Goose Island draft beers, Effen vodka cocktails, and well liquor. See you on Tuesday, August 9!

More about the performance programs you’ll be helping us fund: 

The Sinclair Campus and Second Chance Campus are part of The Peace and Education Coalition Alternative High School Program, which provides youth ages 16-21 a non-traditional education opportunity. The school serves youth who have dropped out of traditional high school, but now are prioritizing their education and want to earn their CPS high school diploma.

Since 2011, Urban Gateways has provided four shows per year at each campus – until this past year. Because of budget cuts, The Peace and Education Coalition Alternative High School Program was only able to have one show at each campus. Just $1,000 will provide each campus with an additional touring performance!

This event features a balloon raffle!
