Every young person—no matter their zip code—deserves the chance to make and see art. Art is a gateway for connecting communities, generations, and young people to their whole selves. Urban Gateways engages young people in arts experiences through school instructional programming, touring performances, tickets to art events and extracurricular programs, and mentoring.
The Urban Gateways Associate Board’s purpose is to promote and support Urban Gateways’ efforts to offer arts education programs to all young people, while building a community of Chicago’s next generation of arts advocates and leaders.
