Justus White is a Cabrini Green raised filmmaker, photo/video producer, and Christian content creator. He previously spent his high school summers attending Urban Gateways Summer program where he studied film and video production. From attending these programs, he developed a strong passion for storytelling in the art of videography. Justus attended The School of the Art Institute in Chicago, where he was able to go even further in his educational experience and studies with visual storytelling. In 2017, he received an Emerging Artist award for his short film “Ima Goner 2”.
Justus served as the digital marketing and communications intern with Urban Gateways in the year of 2019 and soon after received his BFA in film and video that same year. He later began partnering with Street Level as a teaching artist and now has officially joined the Urban Gateways family as Associate producer and media instructor for Street Level.
